Alpacas are herd animals and they absolutely have to have a herd to feel safe and be healthy. But we tell our visitors that this is one alpaca that can live without a herd and can also be kept indoors! He/She is super soft and the neck can be moved around (it is on a pole that inserts into the body) so she can look in different directions. 11/9/22 Note: The all white alpaca sold today and the 1 we have left is the one in the picture - with a light fawn neck and a white body.
